Amy's Drive Thru

I love what Amy’s is bringing to Marin! A fully vegetarian fast food restaurant with many items that can be ordered vegan. Sadly, I am not a huge fan of their food- but my teenage nephew sure is!

Last time I went to Amy’s, I ordered a green salad with balsamic dressing and vegan mac-and-cheese with broccoli. The vegan cheese in the mac-and-cheese was no good, but I am an admitted food snob and think 95% of vegan cheeses need serious improvement. So, take my opinion with a grain of salt.

The green salad was fresh and tasty with great red-leaf lettuce, shredded carrot and cherry tomatoes, and a totally fair price for what they served.

The vegan shakes are AMAZING here. You cannot leave without ordering one!

Overall, I don’t think this restaurant was created with me in mind, but I absolutely love and support Amy’s for doing their part to bring organic, vegetarian food to everyone at an affordable price point.
