Wondering why this post has a picture of chips and salsa? Because that is all vegans can order here.

Given their focus on fish and a very limited menu, it is really nice that that they at least put one thing on the menu (other than chips and guac) for a vegetarian. Their avocado tacos are battered avocado wedges (the batter contains eggs, which is why this dish cannot be made vegan by leaving the aioli off), with pickled slaw, pico de gallo, spicy aioli in house-made corn tortillas. If they just used an egg-free tempura batter or switched their batter from real egg to JUST Egg….problem solved!

This is another example of a restaurant that is tough (or impossible) for vegans to visit with omnivorous friends. Omnivores can eat from a variety of options, while vegans are relegated to chips and salsa.
