Menyo Shono Ramen
Hands-down the best vegan ramen I have ever tasted.
The vegan tantanmen ramen is a ultra-rich bowl of warm deliciousness. Comprised of wheat noodles, soy meat, green onion, cilantro, chive, smoked nuts (!!!), pickled ginger and Enoki Chashu (!!!) this unbelievable dish is what my omnivorous husband proclaimed to be “the best vegan dish I have ever eaten a restaurant, ever.” Good thing he left room for my home cooking to still win top prize. :)
There are a couple of appetizers on the menu for vegans as well- the corn “wings” and the enoki mushroom chips. I liked the corn riblets better than the mushrooms, only because the mushrooms are so light it just felt like I was eating a bunch of oil and batter.
