Side Street Kitchen
This is a cute spot in the heart of Pt. Reyes Station. You order inside and then the food is delivered to your table. They have several dishes that can be easily veganized, such as the quinoa salad with (hold the feta cheese), black olives, wild arugula, tomatoes, or the Falafel sandwich with cherry tomato, red onion, cucumber, pea shoots and (hold the tzatziki).
They offer one vegan sandwich that requires no customization- the open-faced veggie sandwich with
hummus, cucumber, tomato, avocado, pumpkin seeds, toasted sesame & almond on rustic batard bread.
I ordered wrong when I asked for the Veggie “Hash, which is roasted potatoes, vegetables, smoked portabella, chimichurri & (hold the soft boiled egg.) For $14 I got a few small potatoes and a tiny bit of wilted spinach with about 2 slivers of portabella mushroom.
The side of fried Brussels sprouts (hold the parmesan) were delicious!
I will return again to try the vegan sandwich and applaud Side Street Kitchen for offering #ONEVEGANENTREE!
